Kunming Media College is a private undergraduate college transformed from Wenhua College of Yunnan Arts University. On June 4th, 20021,official website, the Ministry of Education issued the "Announcement on Approving the Establishment of Undergraduate Colleges", intending to approve the transformation of Wenhua College of Yunnan Arts University into Kunming Media College.
Wenhua College of Yunnan Arts University was founded in 2002. Yunnan Arts University is an ordinary institution of higher learning that cooperates with social forces and uses non-state financial funds to implement undergraduate education. In 2004, it was recognized as an independent college by the Ministry of Education, and was awarded a bachelor's degree on 20 12.
Since its establishment, the College has been relocated four times.
