Tools/raw materials
The required materials include mud, grouting bucket, mold, blank machine, etc.
1. Grouting: clean the mould first, tie it tightly with rubber bands, then stir the ground mud evenly, scoop it into the grouting bucket, and then gently pour it into the mould until it is just flat at the mouth of the mould. Wait about half an hour, pour out the mud in the mold, and the mold will be upside down on the table. You can take out the mud blank in 20 minutes.
2. Blanking: put the taken mud blank into the drying room for drying, put the dried mud blank on the blank setter, lightly press it by hand, start the blank setter, and put it in with a blade after the mud blank of the cup rotates at a high speed to repair the unevenness around the mouth.
3. Step 3, trim the blank. Dip the cup in a little water, gently wipe it with sponge and flannel, and wipe off the rough particles on the surface to make the surface and interior of the cup smooth and delicate. The repaired mud blank needs to be sent to the curing barn again for drying.
The fourth step is to fire. Put the repaired and dried cup mud blank into a kiln, then heat it to 1 180 degrees, and naturally cool it, and you're done. This time will take about 6 hours.
