Minghua Sugar Warehouse was originally the warehouse of Minghua Sugar Factory and was built in 1924. This is the first industrialized sugar factory in China. 1946 was changed into a chemical plant, and 1950 was officially renamed as Shanghai Chemical Plant, which is also the earliest professional plastic processing plant in China. The two floors of the original warehouse were preserved in the transformation, and finally the most historical and infectious parts were sorted out and displayed. Yongan No.1 Cotton Textile Factory, founded in 192 1, has two warehouses, built in 1930, formerly known as Yongan stackhouse. Based on the principle of "making up the old with the new", Dongcang was thoroughly remoulded, and adopted the "glass screen printing process" to "copy" the architectural lines on the west side on the glass on the east side, and the water tower between the two floors was restored according to historical photos.

The building where the Soap Dream Space Exhibition and Experience Hall is located was originally the production auxiliary area of Shanghai Soap Factory, which was composed of the original medium-pressure hydrolysis building and sewage purification pool. The designer raised the original site between the pools to a height of 7 meters, and the concrete frame of the roof and the planting together created a three-dimensional roof garden as a platform for viewing the river. The lower part of the building is connected in series with different pools through steel pipes, forming a series of spaces with light and shade conversion, staggered height and internal and external turnover. At present, there is a product display area, a handmade DIY soap experience area and an interactive visual art device in the space, which has become a punch point for Yangpu Riverside integrating natural history display, manual interaction and special catering.

Baiyangpu Power Plant was built in 19 10, and was officially put into power on April 2, 2003. Shupudong Power Plant once had a big chimney as high as105m, which was the tallest building in China at that time. It is like a bright lamp standing on the Huangpu River. As soon as the ocean-going ship entered Wusongkou, the passengers on board knew that they had arrived in Shanghai. Later, two reinforced concrete chimneys with a height of 1979 and 1998 were respectively built in Yangshupufa Power Plant. In 2003, the old chimney, once the tallest building in Shanghai, was demolished and its base was collected in Shanghai History Museum.
