Research and develop green energy-saving technologies such as vehicle lightweight, braking energy recovery, engine automatic start-stop technology, low drag coefficient, low rolling resistance tires, etc., and continue to build green products with "better performance, lower energy consumption and less emissions" of Shanghai General Motors, forge green competitiveness to cope with future market competition, and realize harmonious and sustainable development between enterprises and the environment, enterprises and society. At the same time, Shanghai GM launched Sail SPRINGO, the first mass-produced pure electric vehicle of a domestic joint venture. Sail SPRINGO pure electric vehicle, as the first new energy product of "Green Technology Strategy", shows Shanghai GM's efforts in electric vehicle technology and strong new energy technology reserves. It has four advantages, such as "driving pleasure comparable to gasoline cars", "high energy efficiency", "high safety" and "humanized convenience", which can easily meet the daily needs of urbanites and provide a brand-new, accessible, diversified and convenient car life. Shanghai GM regards "green manufacturing" as a solid support and one of its core competitiveness in developing "green products", including green R&D, green products, green procurement and supply chain, green logistics, green manufacturing, green IT, green distribution and service. Shanghai GM's "green manufacturing" not only has a solid foundation, but also has been at the forefront of the industry in energy utilization, clean production and green technology. Shanghai General Motors is the first "national environmental protection enterprise" in the automobile industry, its Yantai Dongyue base is also an "advanced cleaner production enterprise" in Shandong Province, and Shenyang Beisheng Automobile is an "environmental protection enterprise" in Liaoning Province. At the same time, Shanghai GM actively plays the leading role of the automobile factory, drives the upstream and downstream industrial chains, and creates a green industrial ecosystem. Before the project, Shanghai GM invested nearly100000 yuan to implement the "green supply chain" project, which stimulated the supplier system to invest about 350 million yuan to implement energy-saving and environmental protection projects and promoted the green transformation of the industrial chain.
