Brief introduction of Zhou yang
Zhou Yang (1908~ 1989), formerly known as Zhou, is called Ying. Modern literary theorist, literary translator, literary activist, member of the Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences of China Academy of Sciences. 1928 graduated from Shanghai Daxia University and studied in Japan in the winter of the same year. 1930 returned to Shanghai to join the left-wing literary movement. From 65438 to 0937, he went to Yan 'an and served as the director of education in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region, the vice president of Lu Xun Academy of Literature and Art, and the president of Yan 'an University. Since its founding, People's Republic of China (PRC) has been engaged in the leadership of cultural propaganda, and has served as the deputy director of the Central Propaganda Department and the deputy director of the Ministry of Culture. He was criticized and imprisoned during the Cultural Revolution. After smashing the Gang of Four, he came back and successively served as vice president and dean of the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, vice chairman, chairman and party secretary of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and vice chairman of the Chinese Writers Association.
