After 10 months of intense construction, the left section of Sulongzhu Tunnel, the first tunnel in expressway, Daxunlong, was successfully completed on July 1 1, which created favorable conditions for the implementation of Sulongzhu steel pipe arch bridge, a full-line control project.
It is understood that Daxunlong expressway is a first-class highway, located in Xunhua County and Hualong County of Haidong City, with a total length of 92.74 1 km. There are 64 bridges, 1 tunnel 1 1 and 5 interchanges. The ratio of bridge to tunnel accounts for 49. 1% of the whole line, and the construction period is 4 years, which is planned and constructed in our province. Expressway is scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic in 20 17. After opening to traffic, it will become one of the major passages connecting Gansu and Qinghai provinces, which is of great significance for promoting the development along the Yellow River Economic Belt.
In addition, this canyon expressway is not only complicated in topography, engineering geology and hydrological conditions, but also extremely difficult to construct, with steep terrain, broken rock strata and many earthquake faults. It is also the first time that our province has adopted a brand-new financing model, namely, the construction of the first spiral tunnel in the northwest and the construction of expressway, the first water transport ship in Qinghai. The Sulongzhu Yellow River steel tube arch bridge in this highway section will become the largest steel-concrete arch bridge in western China. At the same time, the Dalijiashan tunnel from Dalijiashan to Xunhua will become the longest expressway tunnel in our province, about 5.5 kilometers long; Upon completion, Wolonggou Tunnel 1 will also become the first spiral tunnel in northwest China.
