Youth refers to the stage when a person is about fifteen or sixteen to thirty years old. Teenagers, called young men in ancient times, now refer to the stage when people are about ten to fifteen years old.
Teenagers are a period of human development, between childhood and adulthood. During this period, human beings will go through a period of adolescence, that is, the process of sexual maturity.
Scholars think it is difficult to give an accurate definition of adolescence, because it can be understood from different angles. In today's society, a comprehensive understanding of adolescence comes from information from all angles, including psychology, physiology, history, sociology, education, anthropology and so on. From all these viewpoints and angles, it can be explained that adolescence is a period of change and transformation. Its purpose is to prepare children for the transformation of their adult roles.
