How to cook an eagle is how to teach it.

Cook an eagle

Boiling eagles, in old Beijing dialect, is also one of the ways to cook and tame eagles. To put it bluntly, it means not letting the falcon sleep, cooking it and making it sleepy, mainly because people liked to play with eagles at that time. Because eagles have fierce habits, they are not allowed to sleep after being caught. For several days, its wildness was strangled. It is not so easy to cook eagles, and not all eagles have to cook them. We only talk about the cooking eagle (goshawk) in Ying Huang, and Sumutashi township in Xinjiang is called the hometown of falcons. There, Kirgiz people have been accompanied by eagles for generations, and cooking eagles has become an important part of Kirgiz national culture.

Hunting is an auxiliary industry of nomadic people, and so is Kazak people. In their hunting activities, there is a very unique traditional hunting method, that is, hunting with domesticated eagles.

Ancient hunters didn't have modern hunting tools such as guns, so they often used hunting dogs or domesticated falcons to catch prey. The key to falconry is the recuperation and domestication of falcons. After catching the wild eagle, the hunters devoted all their efforts to feeding and caring for it, making skin trips and eye patches for the eagle, and flying and training it every day. Before domestication, we should feed the eagle delicious food to make it grow fat and strong as soon as possible. But at this time, eagle fat is a kind of virtual fat, and it has to be turned into muscle to have strength. At the beginning of eagle training, we must first fatten the eagle, not only can't eat it, but also give it gastric lavage. Gastric lavage, and then give the eagle a bath with hot water to make it sweat. At night, the eagle is put on a thick rope specially used to train the eagle, so it can't stand steadily. There are people below who keep hitting the rope with sticks, and the rope keeps shaking, so the eagle can't sleep. This is called "boiled eagle". When the eagle is extremely tired, it will fall to the ground. At this time, wash the eagle's head with clear water, and then let the eagle drink tea or salt water. In this way, the eagles will lose weight in a few days, and some eagles will be skinny with hunger. At this time, it began to domesticate, put a special eye mask on the eagle's head to prevent it from seeing anything, and specially fed it some animals such as rabbits, pigeons and birds to eliminate its fear and hostility to people. Then let it go on hunting training. The eagle has sixteen tail hairs. With these sixteen tail hairs, the eagle can adjust its take-off, braking, gliding, falling and catching prey. During training, sixteen tail hairs are wrapped with thread one by one. The line between feathers should not be too tight or too loose. If it is too tight, it can't take off. If it is too loose, it will fly away. Tie rabbits and pigeons to the training ground with ropes. When everything is ready, take off the eagle's blindfold, and then the falcon will catch its prey until it is full. The next training is not to let it eat after it catches its prey, and so on for many times, and finally let it eat. After a period of time, loosen a few feathers, or even loosen them all later. After half a month, the eagle was completely domesticated. When testing the domestication results, put some meat in the room and invite the eagle to eat. If the eagle can eat it, even if it succeeds, they can put the eagle outside to hunt. When you feed the eagle, you only feed lean meat, but you don't have enough to eat. This is because "eagles don't hunt when they are full". Also, if you don't see your prey, you can't take off your blindfold or untie your feet. This is called "Don't let the eagle fly until you see its prey." Falcons can catch wolves, antelopes, foxes, rabbits and other birds with their claws.

In modern eagle cooking, the eagle's feet are tied to a stick so that it can't leave the stick. It is placed in a separate empty room. Then the room has a big light bulb on for 24 hours, 500W or 1 thousand. At first, it can continue to move. Once you find that it doesn't move, rock it. Just like Hong Kong and Taiwan interrogating prisoners, eagles are tamed 24 hours a day, up to three days.

Be careful not to let the second person in during training. Then blindfold it and take it out for a walk. Don't take off your blindfold for two days. Just whistle in its ear to remind it that you are blowing, then take off the blindfold and slowly teach you what you want. Remember: don't feed him or give him anything to eat until he remembers your whistle. Then you can divide him into several whistles. One is to let him fly freely or catch freely. When he remembers, you can feed him and show off your pet. )

The falcon scene is fascinating. A hunter with an eagle holds an eagle in his left hand, raises a whip in his right hand, gallops horses' hooves, and hounds run wild. The hunter keeps an eye on his prey. After choosing the terrain, I quickly opened the eagle's eye patch, tore off the eagle's foot trip and whistled. The hungry falcon jumped up like an arrow and rushed to the frightened prey. Those who fly in the sky and those who run on the ground can be captured alive in an instant with sharp eyes, great strength, agile and fierce eagle scattering. A good falcon can catch hundreds of prey a year. No wonder some people say that a good horse is hard to change for a good eagle, which shows its value.
