Economic Development of Manshuiwan Town

In recent years, Xihe Village has made great efforts to adjust the agricultural industrial structure, changing the past single grain planting into modern three-dimensional agriculture. In 2003, Xihe Village established an agricultural economic website. Through online seed selection, 800 mu of golden pears were developed in the form of "company+farmers". For plots with good soil quality, interplant strawberries, high-quality peanuts, medicinal materials, plum trees and other high-efficiency economic crops. At present, a 1.800 mu high-quality fruit base has been built. Industry, mainly building materials and transportation, has developed rapidly in recent years. The urban construction area is 0.6 square kilometers and the planned area is 2.5 square kilometers.

As the southern gate of Mianning County, Manshuiwan Town is changing with each passing day, and its superior geographical position has created a good external environment for economic development and investment attraction. The rare earth deep processing enterprise invested by Founder Group of Peking University has been completed and put into operation. The East Main Canal, a key water control project supporting Huangtupo Power Station and Da Qiao Reservoir, was fully completed. The Manshuiwan transfer station of Jinping Power Station has been started, which brings great opportunities to the material transportation industry in this town. On March 1 1 day, 2002, Sichuan Ruikun Real Estate Co., Ltd. invested a total of 654.38+0.7 billion yuan to build the project. The whole project covers an area of 340 mu and the overall planning is about 750,000 square meters. A grand groundbreaking ceremony was held in Manshuiwan Town, Xichang City, and Manshuiwan Town entered the integrated development of cities and towns. This project is now Xichang. The project will be developed in five phases, and the residential scale will reach 8,300 after completion.
