Guangfo Expressway starts from Hengsha, a suburb of Guangzhou in the east, connects the northern ring section of Guangzhou Ring Highway, passes through Biyong, Shayong, Tai Po, Yayao, Lianjiao, Lidong, Shuitou and other places in the South China Sea, and reaches Xiebian, Foshan in the west, connecting Fokai Expressway, with a total length of 15.7 km; There were only two directions and four lanes. However, due to the extremely busy traffic in Guangzhou and Foshan, it has been widened to two-way eight lanes, and emergency parking areas are set on both sides to match the traffic flow. Across the line, there are interchanges at Hengsha (Shabei), Shayong, Yayao, da li and Xiebian. The project started construction on 1986 and was completed and opened to traffic on 1 August, 9891.
