Fate in fate often refers to karma, which is divided into fixed karma and indefinite karma.
Buddha's nature is greater than karma, that is, "fixed business cannot be turned." Just like a ripe melon, there is nothing the Buddha can do.
But from the causal point of view, just like the growth process of melon, there are many conditions (fate), such as sunshine, rain and dew, soil quality, weather and meteorology, which will affect the growth of melon.
If you want to plant something else, you can uproot (evil melon); If you want it to grow well, you must work harder, fertilize, water and weed.
Cause is greater than wish. The "karma" here is not a fixed occupation, but an indefinite occupation, just like the different growth periods of melons. If people have a wish, they can uproot and replant other plants, and change the final result through various scientific and technological means such as grafting. This is "karma is greater than wish".
