Legal basis: Article 47 of the Prison Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates: (1) Family members of criminals are limited to their parents, spouses, children, brothers and sisters when visiting criminals in prison. Criminals meet with their families 1 2 times a month, in principle, each time is 30 minutes, and each time they meet with no more than 3 families. Special circumstances shall be handled according to the provisions of "classification of criminals" or approved by the scientific leaders of prison management in the prison area. (two) who come to visit the families of prisoners, must hold a resident identity card and proof of the local police station, security department, township government, office and unit, otherwise it will not be met. If there are special circumstances, the meeting shall be approved by the competent leader of the prison area or the leader of the prison management department. (3) Meeting criminals is only allowed in the interview room, not in prisons, workplaces and the wild.
