There are strict examination and approval procedures for the breeding of wild animals and national first-class and second-class protected animals. The law prohibits any unit or individual from illegally selling, purchasing, selling or dealing in key protected wild animals and their products.
License for domestication and breeding of national key protected wild animals
Application procedure:
1. Audit contents: domesticated varieties, places, funds, technologies, feed sources, etc.
2. Audit basis: Article 5 of the Measures for the Administration of Domestication and Breeding License of National Key Protected Wild Animals issued by the Ministry of Forestry.
3. Audit procedure: acceptance by the Foreign Affairs Office of the local forestry department → verification by the forestry administration department → opinions of the forestry administration department → opinions of the municipal forestry administration department → audit and certification of the provincial wildlife nature reserve.
4. Submit:
(1) written application;
(2) Application form (in duplicate);
(3) Veterinary technical certificate (copy of veterinary ID card and technical certificate);
(4) feasibility report (including technology, provenance, site, feed, etc.). ).
5. Time limit for review: fifteen working days.
