According to official website's information, the address of Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College in Henan Province is Minglun Avenue/Jin Ming Avenue in Kaifeng City, Henan Province. Henan Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College (referred to as Henan Kechuan for short) was founded in 2003, and its predecessor, Minsheng College of Henan University, was one of the earliest independent colleges in China. In 2009, Henan University, a century-old school, joined forces with Henan Daily Newspaper Group, a well-known domestic cultural media enterprise, to co-host the school.
In February, 20021year, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, the school was transformed into a full-time ordinary undergraduate college, renamed Kaifeng Science and Technology Media College in Henan Province, and became the only private undergraduate college named after the province.
