The transformation of students' identity between ordinary high schools and vocational high schools

Student identity transformation

Ordinary high school students can be transferred to vocational high schools, that is, they can fill in the college entrance examination and enroll students in the opposite direction. Vocational high school students can't be transferred to ordinary high schools, but they can only enroll in the opposite direction. However, if they pass the exam, the diploma is still the same.

School choice

The difference is that after the college entrance examination, except for special majors, all universities can choose as long as their scores, while vocational high schools can choose fewer schools and have a fixed range.

Academic transformation

In terms of academic transfer, secondary vocational schools and ordinary senior high schools should identify the completed courses of transfer students according to their respective curriculum requirements and credit recognition methods, and according to the principle of "direct recognition of the same, close recognition of each other", so as to recognize the students' academic achievements as much as possible and reduce unnecessary repetition.

Graduation recognition

With regard to graduation recognition and issuance of graduation certificates, ordinary high school students who transfer to secondary vocational schools and meet the graduation standards of secondary vocational education can obtain graduation certificates only after studying for at least one year. Students who transfer from secondary vocational schools to ordinary high schools must complete the credits prescribed by ordinary high schools and meet the graduation standards of ordinary high schools in order to obtain graduation certificates.
