Brief introduction of Shanghai Xiaoying Star Art Troupe
Shanghai Xiaoying Star, the full name of Shanghai Xiaoying Star Education and Training Co., Ltd., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Radio and Television Station, which is affiliated to Shanghai Xiaoying Star Art Troupe and Shanghai Xiaoying Star Art School. Shanghai Small Shadow Star Art Troupe, founded in 1985, is a large-scale children's comprehensive art performance group in Shanghai, which consists of five sub-groups: dance troupe, chorus, song and dance troupe, performance troupe and film and television troupe. For more than 20 years, Xiaoying has been active on TV screen, movie screen and art stage, and has appeared in many major cultural performances in Shanghai, created a large number of outstanding children's art works, and won many awards in national and even international art competitions. The songs and dances "What a Jasmine" and "Auld Lang Syne" created and performed by Xiaoying Art Troupe won wide acclaim from guests from all over the world at the APEC Shanghai Summit, and Xiaoying's young actors were also received by party and state leaders. Among them, folk music ensemble programs such as "Good Days" and "Ode to Joy" have also become important tracks for foreign cultural exchange performances.
