According to the relevant person in charge of Kunming Traffic Police Detachment, after the implementation of the new regulations, the maximum speed limit of electric bicycles per hour 15km has not changed. Electric vehicles with a top speed of more than 20 km/h and a weight of more than 40 kg are "over-standard" vehicles and are not allowed to be produced and sold in Kunming. Excessive electric bicycles purchased before the implementation of the new regulations must be scrapped after riding for 5 years from the date of purchase.
