The training course for excellent teachers aims to cultivate leading and exemplary teachers with noble morality, rich knowledge and outstanding ability. Second, the training mode and characteristics
(A) Training mode
1. Combine theoretical study with practical study. Relying on the Teacher Education and Training Center, the East Guangdong Basic Education Forum and the Teachers' Professional Development School, the "5+2+ 1 whole-course education practice" mode is carried out in collaboration. The previous "5" refers to the study of general courses, chemistry courses and teacher education courses, and the intensive training of teaching skills for a total of 5 semesters; The middle "2" refers to the practice of "resident teachers" in primary middle schools, which lasts for two semesters (that is, teaching, learning and familiarity in middle school teaching practice); The following "1" is to summarize the research results of micro-topics, write undergraduate dissertations on chemical education, take master's education exams or find jobs.
2. Joint training of double tutors. Before sophomore year, school tutors mainly guide students' academic planning; After the third year, off-campus tutors are the mainstay, and students are taught by regular tutors. In addition, please ask off-campus tutors to teach students teaching experience and cutting-edge education concepts, and guide students to do "micro-topic" research on middle school teaching confusion.
3. Zhuoshi class adopts a dynamic management mechanism of "two-way selection, merit-based admission and survival of the fittest". According to students' learning ability, interest and academic performance, eliminate students who are not suitable for continuing to study in Zhuoshi class; At the same time, from the same level of chemistry students, select outstanding students to transfer to Zhuoshi class.

Third, curriculum evaluation.
It consists of two parts: daily assessment results and final assessment results, in which the proportion of daily assessment results in the total score of this course is not less than 70%. Guide students to change from focusing on "test results" to focusing on "learning process", enhance students' initiative in learning, and improve their learning ability, research ability and teaching practice ability.

(a) All-weather training room.
The chemistry department provides all-weather training rooms for excellent chemistry teachers to study and discuss. The training room is located in the chemical teachers' vocational skills training base (Weinan Building 204 and Chemical Information Studio), equipped with special computers, cameras, teaching software, hand-held technical equipment and complete sets of micro-experiments.
(B) "one-on-one" intimate guidance
The Department of Chemistry arranges teachers from the vocational skills training base of chemistry teachers as responsible tutors, who are responsible for "one-on-one" study guidance and scientific research practice training for outstanding chemistry teachers and students; Arrange teachers from practice schools or teachers' professional development schools to serve as resident tutors, responsible for "one-on-one" educational practice, micro-topic research and graduation thesis training for outstanding chemistry teachers and students.
(c) Sustainable tracking services
The Department of Chemistry provides sustainable follow-up services. Not only for excellent chemistry teachers and students from entering the experimental class to graduation, but also for the whole process of tracking service; Moreover, when excellent chemistry teachers and students go to work, the chemistry department will also provide irregular back-to-work counseling, on-the-job counseling, free online learning course counseling and so on. So as to provide sustainable follow-up services for the rapid growth of excellent chemistry teachers and excellent teachers.
