Filtering method? At present, there are two mainstream filtration methods: pure physical filtration (depending on the filtration grade of the filter element) and electrostatic dust collection filtration (relying on the generated electric field to adsorb particles). The two filtering methods have their own advantages and disadvantages, and the filtering methods chosen by host manufacturers are also different.

Although HEPA's filter element can filter PM2.5 particles, it will be blocked soon after use because of the small gap between fibers, and it needs to be cleaned and replaced in 2-3 months. Electrostatic precipitation filtration may produce ozone, and whether it really doesn't need cleaning is also controversial.

Second, fresh air (wind)

Some decoration users may wonder, isn't the fresh air system just a host with a few fresh air pipes? Why is there more "air distribution" devices?

This actually goes back to the history of modern fresh air system, and the earliest "fresh air" is actually just ventilation. Functionally, the simplest exhaust fan can also be regarded as ventilation equipment.

However, with the changes of fresh air technology and modern living environment, from one-way flow to two-way flow, from ventilation demand to filtration and purification demand, the pattern of modern fresh air has gradually formed. This fresh air distribution equipment, that is, the air distribution static pressure box.

The main functions of the plenum are as follows:

1. As the name implies, the "static pressure box" can convert part of the dynamic pressure flowing into the cavity into static pressure (the static pressure determines how far the wind energy in the pipeline blows), so as to ensure that the air output at the end tuyere reaches the expected effect.

2. Distribute the air volume sent by the main engine evenly to all rooms through the air distribution static box to avoid noise caused by excessive air volume in some rooms and ineffective air volume in some rooms.

3. When the wind from the fresh air main machine passes through the air distribution box, the wind speed will slow down and the sound generated by the wind speed will also decrease. And the air distribution static pressure box is lined with a layer of sound absorption material, which can reduce the noise generated by the fresh air system by 5- 10 dB.

Third, fresh air (pipeline)

Is the fresh air duct simple enough? Is it completed by pulling a few pipes from the fresh air main engine to each room? No, there is actually more knowledge here.

Decorated owners will have a certain understanding of the materials of the above two kinds of pipes. PPR is the water supply pipeline for domestic water. Because it involves the drinking water source, PPR material itself has the foundation of sanitation and environmental protection.

PVC materials are very common in decoration, such as PVC pipes, boxes, cup combs, cables and so on. However, PVC materials are not environmentally friendly, and hydrogen chloride gas will be released during the aging and decomposition of materials, which will endanger human health in serious cases. Therefore, PVC products are generally used in places where contact with each other is not close.
