Shanghai Pudong International Airport (IATA:PVG, ICAO:ZSPD) is located in Pudong New Area of China, about 30 kilometers away from the center of Shanghai. It is a 4F-class civil airport. It is one of the three gateway complex hubs in China, a member of Yangtze River Delta International Air Cargo Hub Group, a member of East China Airport Group, a gateway airport in East China, and the largest hub airport.
By the end of 20 16, the airport had base airlines such as Spring Airlines, Eastern Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and Jixiang Airlines, while China Southern Airlines and China International Airlines set up branches in Shanghai.
