The predecessor of Zhejiang University is Zhijiang College.
Zhijiang Bridge, also known as the Seventh Qianjiang Bridge, is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, and is the extension line of Hangzhou Xinjing expressway. As of June 20 13 and 1 year, it is the bridge with the largest span, the highest tower height and the widest deck among similar bridges in China.
Zhijiang Bridge started in February 2008+65438, the main works started in March 20 10, was completed in February 2002+2065438, and was officially opened to traffic in March 2003.
Zhijiang Bridge connects Binjiang District in the east and Xihu District in the west, with a total length of 4,700 meters. The bridge deck has two-way six lanes, and the designed driving speed is 80 km/h.

Significance of Zhijiang Bridge:
Zhijiang Bridge greatly relieves the traffic pressure on Zhijiang Road, and will also improve the traffic conditions between Hangzhou, Qiandao Lake and Huangshan Mountain, providing traffic guarantee for the "Westward Journey".
After the opening of Zhijiang Bridge, Zhijiang and Binjiang are connected. From Fuyang, Tonglu, Qiandao Lake, Quzhou and other places in Jiangxi, you can enter Binjiang District from Zhijiang Bridge, and enter and leave the main city of Hangzhou from Qianjiang Bridge 4, Bridge 3, Bridge 2 and Chun Qing Tunnel via Binjiang District.
