Purpose. Defining a system, composing a system or abstracting a system all have a clear goal or purpose, and the goal determines the function of the system.
Nestability. A system can include several subsystems, and these systems can also be coupled into a larger system. In other words, the components that make up a system can also be systems. This feature facilitates the classification, partition management, research or construction of the system.
Stable. The stability of the system means that the internal structure and order of the system should be predictable; The state and evolution path of the system are limited and predictable; The consequences caused by the function of the system can also be predicted. A stable system can keep its internal structure and order when it is subjected to external actions.
The openness of an open system refers to the accessibility of the system. This characteristic determines that the system can be recognized by the external environment, and the external environment or other systems can use the functions of the system or influence the behavior of the system in a predetermined way. The openness of the system is reflected in the so-called interface level that the system can be clearly described and accurately recognized.
Fragile. This characteristic corresponds to the stability of the system, that is, the system may lose its structural and functional order, which is often hidden and not easily perceived by the outside world. Once the system with poor vulnerability is invaded, its integrity will be destroyed, and even it will face collapse and system disintegration.
Robustness When the system is faced with interference, input error, invasion and other factors, the system may be in off-peak state and lose its original function, and even show destructive functions when errors occur. The characteristic that the system can resist the unexpected state is called robustness, which requires the information system with high availability to adopt redundancy technology, fault tolerance technology, identity recognition technology and reliability technology to resist the unexpected state of the system and maintain the stability of the system.
