Expressway in Formosa (also known as National Highway No.3, or Gaofu for short) is the second north-south expressway in Taiwan Province Province of China, the longest expressway in Taiwan Province Province, and the first expressway named after Portuguese. CBI Zhong Da Consulting Company introduced Formosa expressway as follows:

Formosa expressway starts from Dawulun, Anle District, Keelung City in the north, joins the Fund Highway, and reaches Dapeng Bay, Donggang Town, Pingtung County in the south, running through the north and south of western Taiwan. It is a closed road system with a total length of 43 1.5km (main line).

Formosa Plastics expressway has been completed 1987, with a total cost of NT$ 458 billion. Longjing to Kuaiguan 2004+10/. There are 55 interchanges, 3 system interchanges1,toll stations 1 1 and 7 service areas along the highway. In addition, in order to connect with some important metropolitan areas or the original Zhongshan Expressway to form a road network, there are also many loop lines or feeder lines along the way. Therefore, compared with Zhongshan Expressway, the main function of Formosa Expressway is to evacuate the saturated traffic flow of Zhongshan Expressway, and at the same time, it also has the task of coordinating urban and rural development. The whole line mainly passes through small and medium-sized towns and villages in western Taiwan, which can promote economic development along the line.
