Is there a 24-hour report for entering Thailand?

Entering Thailand is a common thing for many China tourists. Most people choose Thailand when they go abroad for the first time. Because of the low price, high visa pass rate and convenient transportation, going to Thailand has become the first choice for many people. So you may not know that you need to report to the local immigration office within 24 hours of entering Thailand.

According to Article 38 of the Law on the Entry of Foreigners (1979), if the owner, apartment/hotel and other managers of the residence receive any foreigners who are allowed to enter the country, the owner, apartment/hotel and other managers of the residence must report to the local immigration bureau within 24 hours, or report to the local police station if there is no local immigration bureau.

Owners, owners, apartments/hotels and other managers of residential houses in Bangkok must declare to Bangkok Immigration Bureau if they receive foreigners, and all declaration procedures must conform to the regulations.

Owners, homeowners, apartment/hotel managers and other managers who receive foreigners should fill in the TM.30 form. If they are in Bangkok, they should go to the immigration office in Bangkok. If they are in a foreign government, they should go to the local immigration office.

According to the regulations of the Immigration Bureau, those who need to handle it can choose the following procedures, such as bringing the information to the Immigration Bureau in person, authorizing others to handle it on their behalf, sending it through the post office or handling it online through the Internet.

Methods: Bring the information to the Immigration Bureau in person or authorize others to handle it.

The actual person goes to the designated service window to fill in the TM.30 form and go through the formalities of reporting the address. Please choose a normal working day to go through the formalities.

Method 2: Send it by post office.

1. Fill in the report form and the reporter will sign it for confirmation.

2. Prepare an envelope of 16.5cm23cm and affix a stamp of 10 baht. The receiving address of the informant must be filled in in detail to prevent the immigration bureau from sending back wrong information.

Put the form in 1) and the envelope in 2) into a registered envelope, and then send a registered letter to the post office at the following address: 2 180.

1037 102 10 Please keep the certificate of registered letter.

Methods: Online processing was carried out through the network.

1) Open the website "www.immigration.go.th", click "(give your address)" and register. The staff will send the use number and password to the registered mailbox after approval.

2) You can download the residential address declaration form at www.immigration.go.th

3) After logging into the system, you can download the TM.30 form and the procedure manual for reporting your residential address.

If you handle it in person or send it by post office, please pay attention to the following when filling out TM.30 form:

Owners, homeowners, apartments/hotels and other managers who receive foreigners must fill in two parts (2 sheets) in TM.30 form. The first section is to fill in the information of the owner, owner, apartment/hotel and other managers, and the second section is to fill in the information of foreigners, mainly referring to passports. Therefore, it is incorrect for foreigners to fill in the information before checking in. Please choose writing or printing, and write in English capital letters.

Please pay special attention to the following matters:

1. When filling in the names of foreigners, the first name, middle name and surname should be clearly distinguished.

2. If there are words/letters before or after the foreigner's passport number, they should also be filled in.

3. Fill in the serial number of the entry card according to the entry card (TM.6 form) clipped on the foreigner's passport.

If there are words in the passport number, please fill them in.

5. Entry date refers to the date when foreigners enter the Kingdom of Thailand and stay in apartments, hotels, houses and residences. The contents of the "foreigner's stay report" should be filled in.

The staff will check the TM.30 form. If all the information is filled in correctly, the staff will tear off the designated part at the bottom of the form and give it to the informant for safekeeping.
