At the regular meeting, the minister clearly put forward the discipline of the International Liaison Department to the new director, and the presidium commented that the International Liaison Department has always been a very United, hardworking and effective team. The minister and the three deputy ministers cultivate the new officers' working ability from the aspects of responsibility, patience, honesty and courage, so that they have enough understanding of foreign liaison work and have confidence and determination to engage in this work. If September is a "training", then 10 is the real "training". The 10th Quyi Competition of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the 20th Sports Meeting of the Campus were held at the same time this month. The International Liaison Department ushered in the most important task of this semester-the minister and three deputy departments are the deputy heads of the outreach group of Quyi Competition, responsible for planning and sponsoring activities; In the early stage of the activity, the director sponsored the Quyi Competition and the sports meeting, and did some logistics work on the night of the Quyi Competition. The minister and the deputy department patiently answered the questions raised by the officers and took the initiative to tell them their own experiences and some problems that should be paid attention to. In order to maintain the enthusiasm of officers and strengthen the unity within the department, the minister and the deputy department organized a series of "internal charging" activities. First of all, the dinner between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Life has enhanced mutual understanding among officials within the department, promoted communication between officials and ministers and vice ministries, and strengthened ties between departments and other departments. December is a happy month. We welcome Christmas and New Year's Day. This month, the activities and work of the International Liaison Department are also quite rich. At the beginning of the month, officers were organized to participate in interesting sports activities organized by the Ministry of Sports, and officers actively signed up. At the regular meeting, the Minister and the Deputy Ministry encouraged officials to make plans and preparations for next year's "New Year's Day Garden" and "Model Contest". At the end of the month, the International Liaison Department and the Propaganda Department jointly hosted the "New Year's Eve Gala" of the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Facing all the members of the Student Union is an entertaining year-end friendship. At the end of the year, drawing lessons from the experience of the learning department, the Ministry and the Deputy Ministry began to make a detailed quantitative evaluation of the officers' work in the past six months, and finally the eight officers with the highest comprehensive evaluation scores were elected as "excellent officers" this semester. The serious and active atmosphere of regular meetings has always been the characteristic of the International Liaison Department. Of course, this is the requirement put forward by the minister at the first regular meeting, and it is also the tradition of the department. Due to the particularity of outreach work, communication, discussion and sharing have become an indispensable part. Negotiating with merchants requires skill, experience and enthusiasm. Every time you enter this interactive session, the atmosphere will become active, and the officers who have already entered the business will take the initiative to introduce their experiences and feelings to everyone; An officer who is negotiating with an enterprise will take the initiative to contact the minister and the deputy department and seriously ask some questions that bother him; Not to be outdone, the officers who didn't get the opportunity to negotiate with the merchants still participated in everyone's discussion with confidence, saved their physical strength and prepared to "catch up".
In addition, the discipline of the regular meeting is very strict. "First, you can't be late, second, you can't wear slippers, and third, you can bring a notebook" is a rule passed down. Moreover, if you want to ask for leave, you must finish it before the regular meeting begins; If you miss three regular meetings without reason, you will be removed from the list.
