Sara Third Bridge (the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units)
Ships can see three river-crossing bridges within a few miles of the town: Wanyuan Bridge, Huacheng Bridge and Wankui Bridge.
Wanyuan bridge
During the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, it was destroyed by the enemy. A wooden bridge was built in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, named Fucheng Bridge. In the eighth year of Yongzheng (1730), a stone bridge was built and renamed Wanyuan Bridge. Daoguang was rebuilt in the 14th year (1834) and completed in the 20th year (1840), which lasted seven years. Wanyuan Bridge is 7 meters high, 5 1 m long and 3.5 meters wide. Of the three bridges, this one is the most magnificent. There are ten pairs of lions carved on the stone fence on the bridge, with different shapes.
Huacheng bridge
Also known as Tangqiao. It was built in the Yuan You period (13 14- 1320). It was originally a wooden bridge built by Chenghua Temple in Tangkou, hence its name Chenghua. It was rebuilt as a stone bridge in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, and was rebuilt twice in Chongzhen three years (1630) and Qingganlong fifty-eight years (1793). This bridge has been rebuilt with masonry for more than 430 years. Chenghua Bridge is 6.6 meters high, 46 meters long and 3.4 meters wide. There is a sign on the bridge: "A passenger ship with a cable at the bridge runs at night, which is called a night port. Light poles stand on the bridge, as bright as day. Businessmen all over the world are looking at Poles. "
Wankui bridge
Originally a wooden bridge in the north of Wang Yu Temple, it was built in the first year of Kangxi (1662) and completed in eight years (1669), which lasted seven years. Ganlong was rebuilt in 55 years (1790) and completed with Chenghua Bridge in 58 years (1793). Wankui Bridge is 6.8m high, 5 1m long and 3.2m wide.
Sara Third Bridge, on the same river, less than 400 meters apart, built three bridges. It's really hard to get. Huacheng Bridge is in the middle, 225m away from Wanyuan Bridge in the east and 122m away from Wankui Bridge in the west. There is another interesting legend about the Third Sara Bridge! Legend has it that when people in the north of Sara Town went to catch the morning market at dawn, they were blocked by a raging river, so they had to cross the river by boat. This matter was known by a pair of twin sisters, who took out their savings and built three bridges. Therefore, the Third Sara Bridge is also called the Sister Bridge.
