Focusing on the publicity of food safety in production, the District Quality Supervision Bureau inspected the activities of cracking down on the abuse of food additives and illegal addition of non-edible substances, as well as the environmental conditions and corresponding sanitary conditions that food production and processing should have, focusing on the purchase and use of food additives, and verifying the authenticity of food additives.

Since the centralized rectification campaign was launched, all members of the District Food Safety Committee have done a lot of work around food safety and achieved remarkable results. However, due to the heavy workload of food safety supervision and many uncontrollable factors, there are still many problems in food safety work in the whole region.

In particular, some scattered operators and food vendors are not strong enough in consciously abiding by the law and operating in good faith, and lack the necessary sense of responsibility.
(2) The power of law enforcement and supervision needs to be strengthened. Most food enterprises in our region are small and scattered, and the production season is obvious. All food safety supervision departments can perform their duties within their respective functions, but the cooperation and joint law enforcement supervision between departments are not enough, and the overall joint force is not strong, especially for food safety supervision in remote rural areas.
(3) The food safety inspection system needs to be improved. The existing food safety testing equipment in our district can't meet the needs of food safety supervision. There are no food additive testing instruments and clenbuterol testing equipment, no independent agricultural product quality and safety inspection station, and a lack of technicians who can operate high-precision testing instruments, which has caused great inconvenience to the development of food safety monitoring and supervision.
IV. Next Work Plan
In the future, our district will further strengthen supervision according to the objectives and tasks of rectification work.
Efforts should be made to improve the supervision mechanism and promote food safety supervision in the whole region to a new level.
(1) Establish a long-term mechanism for food safety. We should combine daily supervision with special rectification, integrate law enforcement forces by means of administrative licensing and compulsory certification, and strengthen regular inspection and supervision of key industries and fields.
