Does CISP require information security experience?

CISP certification needs to meet the requirements of academic qualifications and work experience, including two parts: the applicant's work experience and work experience in the field of information security. Years of work experience in the field of information security are not affected by academic qualifications. Applicants with any academic qualifications need to have at least 1 year working experience in the field of information security, and the requirements of working experience are influenced by academic qualifications. The higher the education, the shorter the work experience requirements. Applicants with a master's degree or above only need 1 year of work experience.

To apply for CISP registration qualification, the following conditions shall be met:

Education and work experience requirements:

Master degree or above, 1 year or above working experience; Or bachelor degree, with more than 2 years working experience; Or college degree, with more than 4 years working experience;

Information security professional work experience requirements:

At least 1 year working experience in information security field.

To apply for CISP qualification registration in other professional directions, you must meet the requirements of academic qualifications and work experience in each professional direction of CISP qualification registration;

Passed the CISP exam organized by China Information Security Evaluation Center;

Agree and abide by CISP professional standards;

Meet CISP registration requirements and successfully pass CISP registration review;

After obtaining CISP qualification certificate, observe and meet CISP registration and maintenance requirements, and pay the annual fee.
