What is parallel volunteer?
Parallel volunteer means that candidates can fill in the volunteers of several parallel colleges at the same time in designated batches, and the principle of "scores first, volunteers followed" is followed in filing and admission. First, the candidates are sorted according to the total score from high to low, and then the candidates are searched for "parallel volunteer" in the order from the first college to the last college. As long as there is an institution that meets the filing conditions among the retrieved volunteers, it will be filed with the institution, and only after the volunteer retrieval of the previous candidate is completed will the volunteer information of the next candidate be retrieved.
Characteristics of parallel volunteer:
(1) voluntary juxtaposition. A number of institutions reported by candidates are juxtaposed with each other, that is, all institutions reported by candidates may be retrieved at the same time.
(2) priority. Before searching for candidates' college aspirations, all candidates should be sorted according to their scores from high to low. When searching for files, first search for the highest ranked candidates, and then search for the second ranked candidates in turn.
Note: The principle of ranking the scores of parallel volunteer in undergraduate batches is to compare the scores of comprehensive, Chinese, mathematics and foreign languages from high to low under the condition of the same total score (unified test score+extra points). The sorting principle of applying for the same score in parallel volunteer for specialist batches is: all candidates with the same total score (unified examination score+extra points) apply for the file.
(3) Follow the voluntary arrangement. There is a natural order for candidates to fill in more than one parallel volunteer. Colleges and universities in the front will give priority to search. Once the search meets the requirements of the institution, students will join the institution, and the volunteers of subsequent institutions will no longer search.
(4) A round of filing. Once the candidate's file is cast, the follow-up volunteers will not be retrieved. Therefore, candidates only have one chance to file. If all six parallel volunteer candidates fail to apply for the post, or are rejected by colleges and universities after applying for the post, they can only participate in the solicitation of volunteers or the next batch of admission.
Reporting skills of parallel volunteers
(1) It is best to obey professional deployment. With the implementation of the parallel volunteer model, there is little difference in the scores of college entrance examination candidates, showing a "flat" state. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, colleges and universities can expand a certain proportion on the basis of the enrollment plan (in principle, it should not exceed 105%). If the candidates' files are placed in colleges and universities, they will probably be rejected by colleges and universities because they are unwilling to accept professional deployment because of their low ranking. Therefore, if the professional application is not appropriate, or if one's own conditions can't meet the admission requirements of some majors, and he is unwilling to accept professional deployment, it may lead to falling out of the list. Candidates are advised to correctly evaluate their comprehensive strength, reasonably choose their professional volunteers and whether they are willing to obey the professional deployment when filling in their volunteers.
(2) Accurate positioning and reasonable sequencing. Although there are six schools volunteering in parallel volunteer, only one round of bidding is conducted, and the bidding search has the order of A-F volunteering, first A, then B, then C ... and so on. Therefore, in order to increase the admission opportunities and improve the effectiveness of volunteering, there should be a gradient between secondary schools and colleges in parallel volunteer. If there is no gradient between volunteers, high scores may fall off the list. When filling in parallel volunteers, it is generally necessary to consider "rush", "stability", "guarantee" and "cushion". Candidates may wish to take the ideal school that they want to "jump" as their volunteer A, the "counterpart" school that meets their own performance level as their volunteers B and C, volunteers D and E as two "conservative" schools, and volunteers F as the "bottom" school with lower requirements. In this way, several schools have formed a gradient distribution order, which not only hopes to find the favorite institutions, but also retains the appropriate institutions, and at the same time does not fall into the next batch of institutions.
