Whose child is Mao Mao standing in the sand?

Mao Mao is the child of a company commander who died in battle. After his parents were killed by the Japanese army, he followed the team to escort the injured back to Changsha.

In the play, Mao Mao is the child of a dead officer. Later, Xiang Xiang and the head nurse went to save the wounded. When they happened to see it, they took the child back.
