Japan's college entrance examination policy

Chinese mainland candidates who can register for the college entrance examination normally can choose "Japanese" as the language of the foreign language examination when filling in the college entrance examination registration form. Once the test language is "Japanese", it means that in the next college entrance examination, foreign language subjects will not take English subjects, but Japanese, other languages, mathematics and other test subjects will be consistent with other candidates. Japanese can be tested in the national college entrance examination, which has nothing to do with whether the local and schools offer Japanese subjects.

Friendly reminder: For detailed policy information about applying for the exam, students and parents can consult Xingyi Education Bureau and other authoritative departments, and the information and instructions released by the authoritative departments shall prevail.

About Japanese college entrance examination admission:

The vast majority of majors in most colleges and universities in China have no restrictions on the majors selected by foreign language majors in the college entrance examination. Under normal circumstances, candidates can choose institutions and majors according to their own preferences. However, in general, there may be restrictions under the following circumstances:

1, language (such as English, Japanese, German, etc. ) generally only English candidates are recruited;

2. National defense students generally only recruit English candidates;

3. Some majors that especially need English for teaching, such as Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools and international trade, may not recruit non-English candidates, or may use English for teaching in universities;

4. Other majors that do not recruit Japanese candidates as stipulated in the latest enrollment brochures of colleges and universities;

Some colleges and universities do not offer foreign language courses in small languages after entering school, but adopt English as a foreign language in a unified way, which may cause certain difficulties for students' college study.
