History of China Chemical Information Network

China Chemical Industry Information Center is a national chemical industry information research, information service and application technology development center, which is formed by the merger of the Institute of Science and Technology Information of the Ministry of Chemical Industry established by 1958 and the Economic Information Center of the Ministry of Chemical Industry established by 1984. As early as 1993, China Chemical Information Network (formerly known as National Chemical Information Integrated Service System) used computer technology to provide host-to-host peer-to-peer information retrieval services for national ministries and large enterprises and institutions. 1997, China Chemical Information Network started with the accumulation of resources and technology for decades, and officially provided services on the Internet, which pioneered the online chemical industry and was the first state-owned institution in China to intervene in the industry website service.
