What are the common mistakes in spoken English pronunciation?

One of the common mistakes is not reading the basic phonetic symbols when learning spoken English. When learning English, everyone forgets that the basis of English is not only 26 English letters, but also the most basic phonetic symbols. Those phonetic symbols are to correct your pronunciation. Some students will ask, and some phonetic symbols have the same pronunciation. This is the problem of carelessness. Each phonetic symbol has a different pronunciation. Mistakes are accumulated bit by bit. If you don't correct them, this mistake will always exist.

When I was learning English, I just didn't learn the phonetic symbols first, which led to great deficiencies in my pronunciation and spoken English. Finally, in the first grade, our teacher was very good. Since I started studying from scratch, my English has improved greatly. Moreover, oral pronunciation is very important for listening.

The second mistake is that there is no correct pronunciation speed and frequency, and there may be no good teacher to teach correct pronunciation! And the speed of pronunciation is not easy to control. For example, the same pronunciation, but because of the different speech speed, the part of speech is different.

In those days, I followed it with a tape recorder. Once I finished reading it with a tape recorder, so I read it by myself. After such a long time of practice, my oral pronunciation has become very mature. In today's society, tape recorders are generally not needed. Now a lot of mobile phone software provides us with a lot of convenience. As long as we use our mobile phones well, we can also practice oral pronunciation well.

Last summer vacation, I just went to teach for a month and took me to junior high school. I correct the students' pronunciation first, and I give them a daily task. Before each class, I will read the words in the unit once. The students also adapted to my teaching methods, although I got many good methods about English pronunciation in just one month.

Several students with poor foundation asked me, so I gave them the tape recorder and let them practice as I used to. It's really rewarding. I always thought that no pains, no gains.

The third point is that you don't have the habit of reading a lot of English words. Sometimes you often touch and read words, then you will develop a good sense of language, otherwise the pronunciation of spoken language will always exist.

This will also cause your English pronunciation to be nonstandard. Reading words aloud every day, learning pronunciation and pronunciation, the most taboo is reading and reciting in a low voice. I don't deny that this is ok for some students, but it is wrong for most students. Only by pronouncing words loudly can we slowly correct pronunciation mistakes, and only by realizing these mistakes can we know how to correct them.
