What qualifications should a consultant have?

I have been engaged in foreign investment consulting. From a practical point of view, management consulting companies generally do not look at majors, but at schools (rather than academic qualifications).

1. Why not look at your major and education? Because the content of management consulting determines:

(1) Consulting has no corresponding major, and unlike computers, people without this major can't do it, so the major is not important. People who study history, international politics and life sciences are everywhere, as well as medical students. ●)? This is easy for everyone to understand.

(2) For consulting projects, a high degree of education does not mean that management consulting can be completed better, so it is not very important to look at academic qualifications. Those who require a master's degree or above (excluding MBA) are either domestic consultants or foreign interns.
