2. Highlight students' consistent academic performance. Pay attention to and strengthen the process evaluation of students' undergraduate learning, take the comprehensive academic performance of undergraduate stage as the most basic selection index, and may not organize special examinations (including written examinations and interviews) to select tuition-free students.
3. Guide students to develop in an all-round way. Incorporate factors that meet the value orientation of all-round development into the school student selection index system, reasonably set the weight of each selection index and the upper limit score of individual index, and comprehensively evaluate students' performance in all aspects.
4. Strengthen the comprehensive assessment. It is necessary to strengthen the examination of students' professional quality, scientific research ability and innovation potential, as well as the assessment and evaluation of scientific spirit, academic ethics, professional ethics and socialist core values, and guide students to establish the concept of growing up with the motherland, serving the people, pursuing truth, bravely climbing the peak, adhering to academic ethics and rigorous scholarship.

The Ministry of Education released the total number of exemption places in 2024 through the "National Recommended Excellent Undergraduate Graduates to Study for Postgraduate Information Disclosure and Management Service System", including the number of special students in "Postgraduate Education Group" and the number of special students in "National Defense Science and Technology Admissions Unit accepts students from other schools".
