What are the provisions of Guangxi green building design code for greening design?

The design specification of green buildings in Guangxi is to save resources and protect the environment, ensure the multi-level health needs of residents and users, promote the sustainable development of Guangxi's economy, and standardize and guide the design of green buildings in Guangxi. Then, what are the provisions of the Code for Design of Green Buildings in Guangxi on greening design? The following is an introduction to the provisions of the "Code for Design of Green Buildings in Guangxi" brought by Construction Network for reference.

Residential areas should be set up with centralized green space and decentralized green space. The rate of green space should be greater than 35% in the southern district, 30% in the northern district, 25% in the transformation of old districts, and the green coverage rate of green space itself (including water surface) should be greater than 70%. The green rate of public buildings should be implemented according to their respective design specifications.

The per capita area of public green space in residential areas shall meet the following requirements: the group green space shall not be less than 0.8m2, the residential green space shall not be less than 1.3m2, and the residential green space shall not be less than1.8m2; The transformation of old areas can be reduced as appropriate, but not less than 70% of the corresponding indicators.

Make full use of scattered buildings, parking spaces, walls, platforms, roofs and balconies for greening, and there should be more than four of the above six kinds of sites.

Native plants suitable for local climate and soil conditions should be selected as greening tree species, and the selection ratio of native plants and common plants should meet the requirements in Table 5.4.4. The survival rate of planting is ≥98%, and the excellent rate is ≥90%. Do not plant plants that are harmful to human body, pollute and poison the air.

The greening design should combine arbor, shrub and grass, adopt more than three types of artificial plant communities, and select plants with large green quantity to form multi-layer plant communities. The number of trees and shrubs per 100m2 green space should not be less than 3.5, and the number of shrubs should not be less than 10. The sidewalk should be planted with trees that can form continuous shade, and the spacing should not be greater than 6m.

The proportion of palm trees in the southern region should not be greater than 25%, and palm trees should not be planted in the northern region.

Species richness of woody plants shall meet the requirements in Table 5.4.7.

More than 40% of public green spaces and outdoor activity areas should get no less than 1 hour of continuous sunshine in cold weather.

In the planning area, sidewalks, pedestrian streets, bicycle lanes, open-air parking lots, building peripheries, courtyard floors, garage lanes, public squares, etc. should be paved with seepage roads, and the proportion of seepage ground area in the above-mentioned site area should not be less than 50%.

The lawn slope should be 0.5%~ 1%, shade-tolerant plants should be planted in the shadow area, and the distance between the center of green trees and the external wall of the building should be more than 3m.

The planting soil thickness of platform greening should meet the requirements of plant growth. According to the planting soil thickness, the load of platform greening should be controlled at 500~ 1000kg/ ㎡.
