Origin: Guangxi, Fujian, Yunnan, Sichuan and Guizhou.

Has the effects of expelling pathogenic wind, promoting diuresis, and clearing away heat and toxic materials.

Indications: fever due to wind-cold, rheumatic joint pain, dysentery, edema, leucorrhea, hematemesis, carbuncle, traumatic hemorrhage, snake bite, acute convulsion, tetanus, asthma, stomachache and postpartum wind.

The source is Urena lobata L., a Malvaceae plant, which is used as medicine together with roots and whole grass. Autumn picking, washing, chopping and drying.

Sexual taste is sweet, light and cool.

Function: expelling wind and promoting blood circulation, clearing away heat and promoting diuresis, detoxifying and reducing swelling. Root: used for rheumatism, joint pain, common cold, malaria, enteritis, dysentery, infantile dyspepsia and leucorrhea. Whole grass: external use to treat traumatic injury, fracture, snake bite and mastitis.

Usage and dosage: 5 ~ 8 yuan; Appropriate amount of the whole herb is applied externally, and fresh products are mashed and applied to the affected area.
