Huaining County, which belongs to Anqing City, Anhui Province, is located in the southwest of Anhui Province, on the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the lower reaches of the Wanhe River. It borders Yixiu District in the east, Qianshan City and Taihu County in the west, Tongcheng City across the Dasha River in the north and Wangjiang County in the south. Huaining County has a history of 1600 years since it was founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Counties have been ruled together for more than 690 years, and provinces, prefectures and counties have been ruled together for 1.78 years. Historically, Huaining was called the first county in Anhui.
