A. Let the router automatically select the Internet access mode (recommended).
If you don't know your internet access type, please choose to let the router automatically select the internet access mode, and the router will automatically judge your internet access type, and then jump to the setting page of the corresponding internet access mode. In order to ensure that the router can accurately determine your Internet access type, please ensure that your router is connected correctly.
The example here demonstrates the PPPoE Internet access mode adopted by ordinary home broadband users. Click Next, and the following screen will appear. Fill in the broadband user name and password provided by ISP.
After clicking Next, the wireless setting interface will appear.
Wireless status: Turn the wireless function of the router on or off.
SSID: Set any string to identify the wireless network.
Channel: Set the wireless signal frequency band of the router. Automatic mode is recommended.
Turn off wireless security: Turn off the wireless security function, that is, the router's wireless network is not encrypted, and others can join the wireless network at this time.
WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK: the encryption method of router wireless network. If this option is selected, please enter the password in PSK Password, which requires 8-63 ASCII characters or 8-64 16 characters.
Do not modify the wireless security settings: If you select this option, the last set parameters will remain in the wireless security options. If you have never changed the wireless security settings, you will keep the factory default settings to turn off wireless security after selecting this item.
After clicking Next, the installation wizard completion interface will appear. Click Restart to complete the router setup.
After the restart, click "Running Status" in the menu on the left.
Check the WAN port status. If the IP address is not "0.0.0.0", it means that our router is networked, and the WAN port traffic shows the number of packets sent and received by the current router. At this point, our router setup is complete.
