Individual applicant
For individual sellers, we only allow citizens of the above countries to be individual sellers, and you must meet the following requirements when submitting your application to us.
Identification documents specified below;
Abide by the relevant laws and regulations of individual sellers in the destination market.
Company applicant
For corporate entities, business licenses, registrations or similar official documents are required to prove that they are qualified to sell your goods/services through Tik Tok stores according to applicable laws. If applicable, these documents must also meet the following requirements:
-_ The names of the listed legal representatives shall be consistent with the names on the provided identification documents.
-_ The business license or company registration must be issued by the government regulatory agency. The requirements for business licenses vary from country to country. For the UK, please submit a valid company registration certificate. For Indonesia, please submit a valid company registration certificate.
-_ The business license or company registration of the seller must be valid at the time of registration. It must be valid during the business period of Tik Tok Store, and any expiration, cancellation, termination or any other change of the platform business license or company registration shall be notified.
-_ A complete business license and company registration document page must be submitted, and the name of the enterprise entity and other names related to the license or registration must be clearly visible.
-_ The scanned image must be of high quality color. Tilting, blurring, cropping and screenshots are not allowed.
-_ Submitted documents can be in one of the following formats: png and jpg. The file name should be a string of text or alphanumeric characters, without any special characters, etc.
3. Identification documents
For verification, identity documents are required. Need identification. Passport, ID card and driver's license will do. Identity documents must also meet the following requirements:
The company/company needs to submit the identification documents issued by the government for the legal representative, company directors or individuals with significant control rights. For Indonesia, we accept citizens' national identity cards or passports. For Britain, we accept passports or driver's licenses.
The full name on the ID card should match the full name on your registered Tik Tok store account, or match the name of the legal representative listed in the business license or company registration.
It must be an identity card issued by the government. As a citizen, it needs to be issued and recognized by the state.
It must be valid when submitted. Ensure that the identification documents remain valid during the operation in Tik Tok, and inform us of any changes in information and validity.
A full page of personal information shows your passport.
Copies should be legible. Document images must be of high quality, color and barrier-free.
For multi-page files, please merge two-sided pictures into one page file.
Submitted documents can be in one of the following formats: png and jpg. The file name should be a string of text or alphanumeric characters, no special characters, and so on.
If necessary, information showing the actual ownership of the seller will also be provided to the platform.
4. Bank deposits
Accurate bank account information must be provided. For an enterprise as a legal person, your bank account must be a commercial bank account, and the name of the bank account must be the same as that in your business license certificate or company registration.
5. More information and comments
A verified business entity cannot register more than five seller accounts in TikTokShop. It is forbidden to register more than 5 accounts under one entity.
Due to new regulations or rules, the platform is required to collect any additional information or documents, and the seller will be informed to make corresponding supplementary submission.
If your account information and related documents change, the platform will conduct a second round of review according to the seller's residence.
Additional requirements:
In addition to the above rules, sellers who are not registered in the UK but want to sell to British customers in TikTokShop need to pay extra attention to the following requirements.
1, with cross-border e-commerce platform experience, canceled the previous GMV requirements, but excluded independent station users;
2. Have an account in Tik Tok, UK, have published at least 5 short videos, and have been praised by 100 or above, and the account has no violation.
3. VAT tax number
For British sellers, if your business exceeds the legal threshold, you must ensure that you are registered for VAT. If you are a VAT registered enterprise, you must provide a valid VAT number when filling out the registration application in Tik Tok Store.
4. The company registration certificate of the country where it is located.
You must provide a valid company registration certificate in your country. Host country is the place where important management decisions are made, and it is also the place where your business is centrally managed. The company shall not have any historical violations or outstanding government law enforcement records.
5. Credit card statement, bank statement or property statement
You may need to submit at least one of the following documents issued in the past 90 days: credit card statement, bank statement or property statement, which shall meet the following requirements:
The scanned document should be in color. Copies should be legible. Document images must be easy to read, high quality and barrier-free. Do not submit screenshots.
The company name mentioned in the credit card statement or bank statement should be consistent with the company name provided at the time of entry.
The property list must be based on the name of the enterprise provided at the time of entry. The name and address should be the same as those provided at checkout. Property fees can be water, electricity, gas, internet or telecom bills issued by property companies.
6, verify the legal representative
The authorized representative of the seller must submit identification documents according to the requirements specified in TikTokShop's seller entry rules. Photos taken by ID card holders in the past 90 days must also be submitted. In the photo, the ID card holder must hold the ID card, the front portrait and its arm must be displayed on the photo, and all the information on the ID card must be clearly visible.
