Exercise the courage to go on stage. I am introverted, and I joined the club bravely at that time. After joining the club, I also got several opportunities to perform on stage. Everyone who has been to college knows that after college, there is an interview session, whether it is graduation defense, job hunting, public examination or postgraduate entrance examination. In fact, the most feared thing in the interview is nervousness, so you might as well take advantage of the opportunity of community interview to exercise.
Expand the circle of friends. Clubs are generally interest-oriented, so it is relatively simple to find like-minded friends in clubs. I wonder if other schools are the same. Our school dormitory is arranged according to professional courses. My roommates are in the same class and all my classmates live on that floor. Therefore, if you haven't joined any clubs or organizations after four years of college, your social circle is basically limited to your own professional courses. The composition of the club may be different departments, different classes and different grades, and you will have more channels to get advice.
Cultivate abilities and hobbies. Compared with high school, there is much more time for self-adjustment in universities. If your self-control is not strong, your four-year spare time in college may slip away while playing games or talking about drama. Generally speaking, there are club activities once or twice a week. Although there is not much time, using this time to enhance your interest in this field is enough to make you feel a sense of accomplishment. In addition, if you want to learn a certain skill or musical instrument, joining the corresponding club is the best choice for getting started, so that you can not only have the teaching of your brothers and sisters in the club, but also exchange experiences with other members who study and practice together.
Get credit. University credits are very important for evaluating outstanding students and scholarships. There are not many places where clubs can get credits, and the regulations of different schools may be different. You can find the student handbook of your own school for details. A community is led by the president and vice president, and consists of a propaganda department, an office and an organization department. Then there are ordinary community members who have no positions. Our school is the president and vice president of the club, and the remaining two or three places are allocated to the ministers of various departments. Ordinary members have no chance to get extra points. Therefore, if you want to get credit, you'd better join the club department and take part in the candidate for president or minister.
