1,Jionji
Daiyuji is located in Jinchangfang, Chang 'an City in the Tang Dynasty (now south of Xi 'an City, Shaanxi Province), the ancestral hall of "Only Knowing Sect" (also known as Fa Xiangzong, Jia Shezong and Ci 'en Sect), one of the three translation sites in Chang 'an, Tang Dynasty, with a history of more than 350 years. Jionji is the most famous and magnificent Buddhist temple in Chang 'an in Tang Dynasty, which was built by royal decree.
2. Huayan Temple
Huayan Temple is located in the southwest corner of Datong ancient city. Founded in the seventh year of Liao Dynasty (AD 1038), it was named after the Buddhist classic Huayan Jing. Huayan Temple sits west to east, and more than 30 single buildings, such as Shanmen, Puguang Mingtang, Mahayana Hall, Boccaccio Tibetan Hall and Huayan Pagoda, are arranged on the two main axes of north and south respectively, with strict layout. It is a well-preserved Liao-Jin temple complex in ancient China. 196 1 was announced as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
3. Daxing Mountain Temple
Daxing Temple is one of the eight schools of Buddhism, the ancestral hall of Tantric Sect, the royal temple in Sui and Tang Dynasties, and one of the three translation sites of the Imperial Capital Chang 'an. It is located in Jingshan Square in the east of Chang 'an (now Xingshan Temple West Street in Xi 'an Xiaozhai). Daxing Mountain Temple was founded in the second year of Emperor Wu of Jin Dynasty (266), formerly known as Zunshan Temple, with a history of 1700 years. It is one of the oldest existing Buddhist temples in Xi.
Introduction of Xi city
Xi 'an is located in the middle of Guanzhong Plain, bordering Weihe River in the north and Qinling Mountain in the south. Xi 'an, known as "Eight Rivers Around Chang 'an" since ancient times, lies between east longitude107 40'-109 49' and north latitude 33 42'-34 45'. Xi is a "world historic city" designated by UNESCO 198 1. It is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization and the Chinese nation and the starting point of the Silk Road. Other attractions include Xi 'an City Wall, Bell and Drum Tower, Huaqing Pool, Zhong Nanshan, Datang Furong Garden, Shaanxi History Museum and Forest of Steles. There are seven "double first-class" construction universities in Xi, including Xi Jiaotong University and Northwestern Polytechnical University.
