(4) Check vehicle accessories, such as batteries, wipers, tires, engine oil and other consumables to see if they are aging.
(5) Check the working conditions of the shock absorber and suspension. Press the corner of the car body hard with your hand. After release, look at the number of bounces, preferably between 2 and 3 times. If conditions permit, you'd better look at the venue on the stage.
(6) Check whether there are any repair marks on the engine room and the bottom edge of the car, in case of buying an accident refurbished car.
2. In the car:
(1) Check all electrical equipment. Electric window, electric rearview mirror, skylight, etc.
(2) Various instruments on the dashboard should be complete and effective, and pictograms can be accurately understood and easily identified.
(3) The seat surface should be clean and intact, without damage or scratches. The seat adjustment system is normal and accurate.
(4) Get on the bus, put your hands on the steering wheel and check the clutch, accelerator and brake pedal. Press the brake pedal and check whether the brake system leaks oil.
Check new car program
Check whether the car is consistent with its nameplate: engine number, frame number, product certificate and factory date. The number on the certificate should be consistent with the engine number and frame number of the car. Judging whether it is a backlog car from the factory date, and knowing the time from production to sales. In addition, models, power, number of seats, engines, etc. Requirements are consistent with the real thing.
4. Test run to understand performance
After the static test is completed, you should further understand the performance of the vehicle and experience it in your own test drive. During the test drive, check the ignition, starting, shifting, acceleration, turning, foot braking, hand braking and the use of vehicle lighting to understand whether the vehicle is running smoothly, quietly and comfortably.
(1) Start the engine, and listen to the speed, including whether the engine starts quickly, whether it runs briskly, continuously and smoothly, and whether there is noise or abnormal sound. Get back in the car, lightly step on the accelerator and feel whether the acceleration response of the engine is continuous. After continuous acceleration, the idle speed should remain stable.
(2) Step on the accelerator slowly and lift the clutch lightly, and the vehicle should start smoothly. The shift of a new car may not be smooth, but it should not be stuck, hung or taken off, and it should not be blocked. Step on the brakes lightly at low speed, test the braking force, and the braking response should be good. You can also try to slide in neutral, such as driving at a speed of 20km/h, and sliding on a flat road can be 50 ~ 80 meters. If the car stops quickly as soon as it is disengaged, it means that the moving parts are improperly installed, debugged and lubricated, such as the bearings are too tight, the brakes are scratched or the lubricating oil is solidified.
(3) During the trial operation, the overpass can feel acceleration and power; Feel whether the steering system is satisfied by shifting gears up and down and tapping the steering wheel; During normal driving, the direction should not deviate, and it can automatically keep driving in a straight line, and basically return to the right side after turning (90%); When the vehicle turns left and right to the extreme limit, the wheels should have no abnormal sound.
