Legal basis: provisions on political review of conscription

Article 9 In addition to the provisions of Articles 7 and 8 of these Provisions, recruits recruited by units with special requirements for political conditions shall not be recruited under any of the following circumstances; 1, sympathizing with or supporting illegal organizations or activities in words and deeds; 2, listening to and watching foreign reactionary radio, television and other media, transmitting reactionary propaganda materials and obscene articles, and being affected ideologically; 3, having bad behaviors such as stealing, fighting, drunkenness, making trouble; 4, participating in various religious organizations or superstitious activities; 5, having tattoos; 6, being in the field for a long time, and the actual performance is difficult to find out. 7. Major family members, immediate family members, major social relations members or other relatives who have a great influence on me are dissatisfied with the line, principles, policies and socialist system of the party and the country. 8. Major family members, immediate family members, major social relations members or other relatives who have a great influence on me are subject to criminal punishment or expelled from the party or public office. 9. Major family members, immediate family members, major social relations members or other relatives who have great influence on themselves are under investigation for suspected crimes.
