Huang Longyu is mainly produced in Xiaoheishan Nature Reserve in Longling County, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province and the surrounding Supa River Basin. It is close to the origin of jadeite in Myanmar and belongs to the Yunnan-Myanmar gem metallogenic belt formed by the extrusion of Eurasian plate and Indian Ocean plate.
Huang Longyu is a new jade species discovered in Longling, Yunnan in 2004. Its main colors are yellow and red, as well as sheep fat white, blue white, black, gray and green. Known as "yellow as gold, red as blood, Bai Rubing as black as ink". Specifically, yellow is yellow, honey yellow, egg yolk, chicken oil yellow, orange yellow, loquat yellow and other shades of yellow.
