Master Ming Xue founded Sangha education.

On March 1980 and 18, Zhao Puchu lay people visited Lingyanshan Temple for the second time. In view of the influence of the "Cultural Revolution" on temples, there was no successor, so Master Ming proposed to establish Sangha education and cultivate monks' talents, and asked Park Lao for instructions. Park Lao expressed his strong support and personally drafted and inscribed the name of "Lingyanshan Branch of China Buddhist College". After preparation, China Buddhist College Lingyanshan Branch officially opened on198065438+February 10. Master Ming Xue, as the executive vice president of the Buddhist College, always puts monasticism in the most important position. From the enrollment of Buddhist colleges to the graduation of monks, he strictly controlled every link. He said: "If a monk does not have a firm belief, the more knowledge he learns, the worse it will be for Buddhism." This sentence means that some people have no firm belief. They only pay attention to learning knowledge and don't obey the precepts when they go to Buddhist college. Or they use the Buddhist College as a springboard to learn knowledge and leave the temple to make a living in society. Therefore, he particularly emphasized that the first condition for becoming a monk is to have a firm belief, a firm mind and strict discipline. On this basis, after further study by the Buddhist College, it may become the pillar of Buddhism in the future and continue the wisdom of Buddhism!

For this reason, Master Xue Ming took "the integration of learning and practice, and the life of learning a monk is a jungle" as his school purpose, insisted on learning from the rooftop and returning to the pure land, and compiled Printing Master's Money as one of the teaching materials. Every monk is required to pay equal attention to his career, study hard in three fields, be a vegetarian, become a monk and be single. Anyone who commits a crime will be expelled. Monks attend morning and evening classes every day, have two meals in the morning and afternoon, and take part in public welfare work on Saturday afternoon. The college starts more than 20 days earlier than other colleges every autumn, so that monks can take care of themselves. From the first day of the twelfth lunar month to the twenty-first day, monks must also attend the intensive Buddha Seven for twenty-one days.

The Buddhist College has been established for 2 1 year, and has trained many talents with both ability and political integrity. * * * There are 360 graduates assigned to various places to engage in legal affairs, which is enjoyable and affectionate. Some of them served as assistant directors and standing directors of Buddhism in China, presidents and secretaries-general of local Buddhist associations, some served as abbots, housekeepers or directors of Buddhist colleges, and some went to study in the United States, Britain, Singapore, the Philippines, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong.
