Excuse me, has the October meeting of Lao Wang in Yujiazhuang, Nanwei Township, Xingping City, Shaanxi Province started?

Here we go. There are two forms of villagers' meetings. First, a meeting attended by villagers over 0/8 years old in the village/kloc is called a villagers' meeting. The other is a meeting attended by representatives of various households, which is called a household representative meeting. According to the provisions of Article 22 of the Organic Law of Villagers' Committees of the People's Republic of China, when a villagers' meeting is held, representatives of more than half of the villagers over the age of 18 or more than two-thirds of the households in the village shall participate, and the decisions made by the villagers' meeting shall be passed by more than half of the participants. Where the law provides otherwise for convening villagers' meetings and making decisions, such provisions shall prevail. When a villagers' meeting is held, enterprises, institutions and mass organizations in the village may be invited to send representatives to attend the meeting as nonvoting delegates.
