Lego building block raw materials enter the factory. There are many huge raw material tanks in the workshop of the factory. Every day, many raw materials from overseas are transported to the factory by truck and put into different raw material tanks. These plastic raw materials enter the mixer through vacuum tubes and are dyed.
Lego blocks are dyed and shaped. The raw material particles will pass through the injection molding machine after dyeing. These raw materials are heated at a high temperature of 230-300 degrees Celsius, melted into the shape of toothpaste, and quickly enter the mold through the machine, and the temperature is rapidly reduced to form particles. This is the building block particle we see. If some wastes appear in the production process, they will be recycled again and the production speed will be very fast.
Now there are many workshops in Jiaxing Lego Factory, and each workshop has nearly 200 injection molding machines that can be produced at the same time. Now the factory can produce more than 200 types of parts at the same time, and the parts produced are sent to all parts of the world.
In the packaging process of the produced building blocks, the granules produced from the production workshop will not be packaged immediately, but will be arranged in a very large warehouse to wait for suit processing.
In this big warehouse, all sorting is done by automatic robots and turned into suits. Each production line has more than 30 sub-packaging containers, which are automatically sorted into a large package by the machine. At present, there are six such production warehouses, and it is 24 hours. In the process of uninterrupted production all day, more than 2000 packages can be produced every hour.
How to deal with errors in the production process? In the sorting process of production, there will be a high-precision weighing machine for sorting and packaging, and the accuracy can be as high as 0.2 grams. If errors are found in one group, the whole group will be rejected, and if higher errors are found, the whole batch will be recycled. Therefore, the toy set received by the player will be short of parts and will hardly appear.
As can be seen from the production process, the production of toys is indeed improving. No matter from the processing and molding of raw materials to the final testing and packaging, every step is in pursuit of the perfection of toy manufacturing. It is precisely because of such good quality control that this brand can be respected and loved by players for decades.
