How to evaluate the animated film Hear the Sound of the Waves?
Hearing the sound of the waves, I personally think it is an odd work by Studio Ghibli. It is strange because it is a very realistic and fresh work. When we think of Ghibli, we will think of Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, the Valley of the Wind, the Ghost Princess, or the tomb of fireflies with a dull atmosphere. Even if you listen with your ears, it is more fresh and less realistic, and the emotional entanglement of boys and girls when they hear the sound of the waves is closer to our lives. So, I said it was a strange work, and it was said that Miyazaki Hayao was not satisfied with it. Gillip's younger generation was adapted from the first half of Masako's novel of the same name in the Ice Room. Indeed, the second half of the novel is well written, but the movie version made Li Cangzi not attend the class reunion, but arranged for her to go to Tokyo Station to pick up the extension. They smiled at each other, and then came to an abrupt end, different from the original. The second half of the original book describes their gradual approach in detail, and the film ends here with infinite charm. Because this is where boys and girls hear each other's thoughts, it doesn't matter how they follow up. I heard the sound of the waves, not the sound of the waves. What impressed me most was the sound of the horn when Tuo and Feng watched the sunset at the dock, and the consternation and knowing smile of Tuo when they heard that Li Cangzi was going to Tokyo to meet the man sleeping in the bathtub. If you and your best friend fall in love with the same girl, you should understand the complicated mood and the tacit understanding of not talking. I think this description is better than the novel. I think the biggest reason is truth. Speaking of movies like Graduation, Unrequited Love and Youth, we can see countless movies and cartoons in our minds. So what's the difference between "hearing the sound of the waves"? Some people say that domestic youth campus movies are inseparable from abortion or derailment, while Japanese cartoons show that at least one of the actors and actresses is gentle and lovely, and they like each other but carefully kill the audience. There are two different scenes in Listening to the Sound of the Waves: Tuqi Tuo and Tuo, who are sleeping in the bathtub, slap each other in public with Li Jiazi.
