Shanxi Provincial Admissions Examination Management Center is a specialized agency responsible for the province's admissions examination, a deputy bureau-level institution managed by the Provincial Department of Education, and a public welfare category. The main responsibilities are:
(a) adhere to the party's overall leadership over the entrance examination work, and implement the principles, policies, laws and regulations and decision-making arrangements of the party and the state and the provincial party committee and government on the entrance examination work.
(two) to carry out the research and evaluation of the entrance examination, to provide decision-making basis for the provincial party committee and government to formulate the entrance examination policy, and to provide consulting services for candidates, parents, institutions and society.
(3) Organizing the implementation of the province's postgraduate entrance examination, general college entrance examination, adult college entrance examination, adult secondary school entrance examination, higher education self-study examination, secondary vocational school graduates entrance examination, general college entrance examination, general secondary school entrance examination and ordinary high school academic level examination.
(four) according to the relevant laws and regulations, within the scope of responsibility and authority to deal with the relevant candidates who violate the rules and discipline, and assist the relevant departments to investigate and deal with major problems in the entrance examination.
